A Hat Tip to Facetime.com

I noticed a couple of visits from Face-time.com yesterday, so I checked out this new site which appeared in my blog stats. As it turned out Face-time.com included this blog in its Blogroll, together with the likes of Bankers Ball, Deal Breaker, Wall Street Oasis, Leveraged Sellout, Mergers & Inquisitions, and seven other ibanking blogs. To say the least, I find it humbling to find my blog in the company of these terrific banking blogs. Many thanks, Facetime.

Here's how Facetime came to life, in their own words:
In October 2009, we decided we were bored with the usual banking blogs/sites that focused solely on the U.S. and thought that it was time for a new blog which focused on the City of London, the World’s new financial capital.
For a two-month old website, Facetime is understandably still a work-in-progress. For example, a "Careers" page is still under construction, but the "Forum" discussions have started in earnest. Facetime is inviting interested readers to sign up as members. It is hoped that over time Facetime could create a loyal readership base that could evolve into a self-sustaining community.

As in the website's tag line, if you're looking for ways to procrastinate until your boss goes home, maybe you need to pay Facetime a visit!
