The "mother of all bailouts" now has an official name--Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 or EESA --and after several days of intense negotiations between the Bush Administration and the two Houses of the U.S. Congress, the original 3-page draft legislation submitted by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to Congress around the middle of last week has mutated into a 110-page document. Unless you are a lawyer or want to punish yourself with 110 pages of legalese, I'm sure you'd prefer an easy-to-digest, bulleted recap of the draft EESA any day. I've done that for you, using the materials available here. Hope you'll find this slide show informative and useful.
