Whoever said first that the more things change, the more they remain the same couldn't have been more correct. Just look at that B&W photo of an unemployed sandwich board man from a bygone era and that colored photo of Joshua Persky, an ex-investment banker, which appeared in DealBook last Friday. It's not a pretty sight (may be cute for some but it's definitely not funny) and could even be a portent of things to come, as heads continue to roll off Wall Street. I fervently hope it doesn't come to this for that would be the pits:
