Hedge Funds: Un-hedged?...Part 1


After my 12-part series on private equity, which as we saw is not so "private" anymore, my next logical series is, of course, this one on hedge funds, which apparently are "un-hedged", making you wonder why they called it as such, to begin with. And the moment we start questioning this taxonomy, we'll discover that there is really no such thing as a hedge fund definition, if you'll ask the Securities and Exchange Commission. Hmmm...how do you like that?
